1pt e/way Admiral D (94) – The selection failed to build on his York effort. He never travelled at any stage in the race, eventually trailing home in sixteenth place beaten just over eleven lengths. Perhaps the ground was too fast for him.

0.5pt e/way Maw Lam (113) – A massive return to form for the selection who drifted out to 28/1 at the off, but almost pulled off the upset closing down the eventual winner all the way to the line. Her lack of early pace cost her the race, but she looks like six furlongs is needed now. Result 2nd 16/1,14/1 adv…28/1 SP.

0.5pt e/way Tinto (98) – Rhys Elliott’s mount wouldn’t take up the bridle early in the race, and this cost him any chance of making the frame. A return to Thirsk should suit better.
