Yesterday’s Review

0.75pt e/way La La Christine (111) – An excellent display from the mare yesterday who looked unfortunate not to take home the first prize. As with most rides from a wider draw the jockey has a difficult decision whether to go forward and risk a wide trip, or take back and ride for luck while saving ground. In the end the decision to go forward by Cristian Demuro, in a race with plenty of pace on, resulted in a three wide trip. Rossa Ryan, aboard the winner Annaf, found the rail from stall twelve and enjoyed a ground saving trip. Luckily for him he also enjoyed a clear run through on the rail in the finish, while the selection had to make up too much ground from the outside, finishing best to go down by three quarters of a length. Result 2nd 16/1 adv…16/1 SP.
