1pt e/way Unique Journey (103) – A disappointing performance from the selection who performed 10 lengths per mile inferior to his previous effort which was a bit of a surprise considering he won second time out last season and has ran well in the past returning to the track within 20 days. Conditions on the day were as he liked but he could find very little when asked for his effort over a furlong from home. Hopefully, he can show his true form back on a track with an uphill finish which might suit him better.

1pt win King Cuan (106) – It was right to take on the short price favourite who finished unplaced and this lad was backed from 11/4 into 11/8 favourite. Everything looked to be going to plan as he took up the running over a furlong from home under Billy Lee. Unfortunately, he weakened into third near the line and should come on for the run.
