Yesterday’s Review

0.75pt e/way Free Pony (106) – A cracking effort from this lightly raced five-year-old to improve another two lengths per mile on his previous run. The pace looked strong up front with the short priced morning favourite Winning Money put under a bit of pressure from Savvy Twinkle. The selection showed a lovely turn of foot from tenth place in rear two furlongs out to come home in 23.19 seconds (best of the field) and get up on the line. He is thriving at the minute and it was also a positive to see his declared weight increase from 1,146 pounds to 1,154 pounds from his seasonal debut to today. Result 1st 14/1 adv…18/1 SP.

Today’s Advice

The price on Tonal has been smashed up overnight and that was the only one I was interested in at Chelmsford.

Riyadh is also on today and I will repost at 11.45am if anything looks worth a play.

UPDATE (11.45AM)

I managed to study the first 6 races of the card at Riyadh (the JCSA website needs a lot of work done to it…) and there wasn’t anything strong enough at the right price for me today.
