Today’s Advice

Tradesman (14f Hcap) – This 4yo took until his 10th career start before winning his first race over C&D in August when winning ridiculously easy by 5 1/2 lengths from the Ian Williams trained Team Endeavour from a handicap mark of just 46. Since then the son of Mastercraftsman has gone undefeated at tonight’s venue winning his last three races. The handicapper has struggled to get to grips with him, and he still looks well handicapped for tonight’s (8.30) Chelmsford from a mark of 71. Hayley Turner has been on board for his last three wins and she retains the ride once again. The hold up performer recorded a career best speed figure of (107) for his first career win. An easy 3 1/2 length win from Buxted Reel in October, off a slow pace, shows that this horse can get the job done when facing all types of pace. He looks a little overpriced for tonight’s contest, and it will be interesting to see how he gets on against the short priced favourite Kyle Of Lochalsh who was impressive over C&D last time out. At the prices the value looks to lie with the David Simcock trained gelding.
