Yesterday’s Review

1pt e/way Botas (104) – A worry early on due to the lack of pace from the selection who couldn’t make use of his decent draw. Despite racing near last and not getting the clearest of runs in the straight, when Luke Catton got him organised and moving forward the response was very encouraging. He passed just about every horse in the straight, and won by three quarters of a length. A fine piece of riding and training from all connected. Result 1st 16/1, 14/1 adv…12/1 SP.

Nothing solid enough at the right price for me today. A quiet spell until next Tuesday at Lingfield.
