0.5pt e/way Bellick (94) – A below par effort from the selection who blew the start and raced keenly. There is a small race in him this winter, but he lacks consistency at the moment.

0.5pt e/way Roman Palace (102) – A solid enough performance from the selection who had to have a bit of use made of her from her wide draw. The winner is one that I have landed on before this year, so it was a bit frustrating that she chose today to put her best foot forward. Result 2nd 18/1 adv….12/1 SP.

1pt e/way Talis Evolvere (106) – Another solid effort from the selection who would appear to need the extended mile at this track now, judging by the way he finished off his race. Result 2nd 9/2, 4/1 adv R4 20c…11/4F SP.

1pt e/way Green Power (98) – Another slowly run race which wouldn’t have suited the selection. Ella-May Croot was determined to provide as slow a pace as possible on Star Of St James which resulted in him finishing last…. Still a decent effort from Green Power just going down by 1 length in third place. Result 3rd 6/1 adv…9/2 SP.
