Today’s Advice
BHEAN SAIBHRE (12f Hcap) – This four-year-old filly did us a favour when staying on for a place at 33/1 on soft ground at Roscommon this time last year. She has been mixing it over hurdles and on the Flat since, and she caught the eye back in July at Ballinrobe when finishing well to get within a half length of Steps In The Sand under today’s pilot Jack Cleary. She has since won a maiden hurdle by 16 lengths at the same venue, and she has plenty of room to operate from her lowly flat handicap mark for today’s (4.45) Bellewstown having raced just eight times on the level.
With conditions on the soft side today, she should put her experience racing on this type of surface to good effect. She looks the right price for a sporting interest against the short priced favourite Arcland.
SANSANETTI (7f Hcap) – This Stuart Williams trained three-year-old filly has started her career on a handy mark, and while she has slowly been getting her act together she has posted three career wins and a short head second. She gets in at the bottom of the weight’s for tonight’s (8.15) Chelmsford under Sean D Bowen who has a fine record of 10 wins from 74 rides (13.5%) at tonight’s venue.
A Class 5 handicap for fillies tonight’s contest has attracted plenty of rivals who are still unexposed on the all-weather. The George Boughey trained favourite Tuesdays Child caught the eye last time out at Newmarket when staying on late, and giving her trainer’s ability to find improvement in his handicappers she will be one to keep an eye on throughout the race.
