Royal Prospect (7F 14Y Hcap) – Susan Corbett may be better known for her National Hunt winners, but she has slowly brought this nine-year-old back to the boil since acquiring him from Laurence Mullaney last October. His latest two efforts over C&D were some of his best efforts on the clock (101) and (104) in a long time. His most recent effort behind multiple winner Bonito Cavalo was an excellent one with over four lengths back to the third. The hold up performer has struggled with consistency in the past, but judging by his latest efforts he looks the right price for a small interest to give short price favourite Beylerbei a race. The more pace in today’s (5.35) Newcastle the better, and hopefully the likes of Eleven Eleven and Spartan Fighter (who showed a lot more lately himself) can ensure a truly run race.
