Yesterday’s Review

0.75pt e/way Dryburgh (98) – A remarkable performance from the selection who blew the start and was 10 lengths behind the leader early on. He made decent headway in the home straight but came up 2 lengths short of the winner at the line. He looks the type that will appreciate a bit of cut in the ground going forward. Result 2nd 5/1 adv…4/1 SP.

0.5pt e/way Token Love (103) – This was a strong race on the clock for a Class 6 contest and the selection produced a career best despite only finishing in seventh place beaten 3 lengths. He made decent headway and led over a furlong from home before weakening. It was his first race in 99 days so he should be worth keeping an eye on going forward.

0.75pt e/way Pace Attack (82) – This was a long way from the selection’s debut performance. He could only manage to finish in sixth place beaten 11.25 lengths after breaking better from the stalls this time and racing in midfield. The pace of the race was very slow and it probably didn’t suit the selection but this was still along way from what was expected. It looks like a step up in trip will be next.
