A (106) timefigure reads well in the context of today’s race and while the race has yet to yield a winner The Sweet Escape went mighty close a few days ago at Leicester.

The handicapper has dropped him a pound for today’s (4.35) Beverley and he is now just 2lb above his last winning mark. A lightly raced type he can race keenly so the faster they go up front the better and with Donna Nook, Coolree and Not Me in opposition there should be a bit of pace on.
