Today’s Advice
A low quality day today with no interest, but I have an early selection for tomorrow at York.
KIRCHNER (16f Hcap) – The (4.10) York sees the unlucky last time out Small Fry installed as the short price favourite and backers will feel he should have gone a lot closer at Goodwood with a cleaner run through. My preference at the prices is for the improving James Owen trained four-year-old who showed a decent turn of foot at the business end of his race at Ascot last month when an easy 4 length winner of a Class 3 handicap. He tracked the leader throughout before taking up the running over a furlong from home and quickened away nicely. The handicapper has only raised him 6lb and the booking of Ryan Moore is a big positive. There looks to be just enough left in his price for a sporting interest.
1pt e/way Kirchner (9/2 general 5 places) 4.10 York (Wednesday)
