Starsoftheclock Tuesday 1st October 2024 Selections And Review

Yesterday’s Review

1pt win Cannes Do (90) – The two front-runners dictated a steady pace which suited themselves perfectly from start to finish. The selection gave the impression that she didn’t really enjoy the ground, and failed to stay as well.

1pt win Tatum (88) Maybe I was asking too much from this filly after such a long lay-off. All the same, this would go down as a disappointing effort on ground she would have liked.

0.5pt e/way Galel (93) – Despite a massive drift out to 25/1 before the off this filly was coming with what looked a decent finish in the straight when jockey Daniel Muscutt was denied a clear run a couple of times. She deserves another chance going forward.

1pt e/way Harbour Vision (97) – Anybody who thought last week’s second place finish was an indication of a slight return to form from the selection were sorely mistaken. He failed to build on that recent effort. Getting collared on the line for fourth place by Port Noir summed up September to a tee.
