CRIMSON RAMBLER (10f Hcap) – This three-year-old caught the eye last time out at Nottingham over the extended mile staying on well from midfield in a slowly run race to finish runner-up to Kokoluna. He finished best of the field that day on the sectionals and the handicapper has put him up 3lbs since. The step up in trip looks worth exploring for today’s (3.10) Yarmouth considering the dam Infanta Isabella won over that distance at Leicester back in 2018.

Liam Wright is back on board again today and he takes a handy 5lbs off his back while he has already won on the selection before.

HAVE SECRET (10f Hcap) – Trainer Richard Fahey has had a quiet enough month so far with just four winners on the board and this six-year-old was noted using up too much energy early on last time out at Doncaster. He set a fast pace on seasonal debut and did very well to hang on for fifth place at the finish beaten just under three lengths by the Ian Williams trained Harvey. A decent draw in stall three for today’s (3.27) Pontefract should help and he can go close today providing he can be ridden with a bit more restraint considering he won from just a 3lb lower mark over 10f at Redcar last November.

GRABAJABBA/GORGEOUS MR GEORGE (7f Hcap) – The former selection was noted finishing well from the rear in a race where it paid to race prominently last time out behind Jimmy Speaking at Doncaster. He has shown much better consistency as of late with the application of a visor and the handicapper has only raised him a pound for his latest performance. The latter selection is a course specialist who disappointed when last seen over course and distance back in October 2025 but considering he already has three course wins under his belt it would be no surprise if he bounced back to form on seasonal debut today. The handicapper has dropped him a pound since last seen which leaves him on the same mark for today’s (4.55) Yarmouth as when finishing runner-up to Lord Montague (who won this month in Bahrain since) in early October last season.
