0.5pt e/way Thunderstorm Katie (93) – A slowly run race controlled from the front by the winner Our Absent Friends (101). The selection raced a bit too keen early on and showed very little throughout the contest coming home a well beaten eighth of thirteen. The race was not run to suit and a more aggressive ride was needed which the third horse Bibendum received from Cieren Fallon who managed to finish ahead of the selection on 10lb worse terms.

Today’s Advice

SOMELOVEFROMABOVE (6f Hcap) – The (1.45) Happy Valley looks an interesting contest with the selection having tracked the leaders over course and distance from stall one last time out to win a Class 4 race while recording a decent (106) timefigure. As a lightly raced type it is hoped that he can reproduce that effort from stall four today under jockey Matthew Chadwick once again. The son of Lonhro was returning from a 59 day break on that occasion and as he just prevailed in a photo the handicapper has only put him up 5lbs.

He comes out well at the weights on that effort compared to the likes of Goko Win who also recorded a (105) timefigure last time out but finds himself carrying 15lbs more at the weights today. A positive effort from Flow Water Flow who is favourite for Race 3 at (11.40) will be a nice indicator of the strength of the selection’s form.
