Yesterday’s Review

1pt e/way Urban Road (86) – A race with little to no pace after Rock Armour was held up, leaving Rainwater to have a nice easy lead for most of the race. The selection did well to reach the frame, and should get another win soon enough in a more truly run race. Result 3rd 9/2 adv..4/1 SP.

1pt e/way Streak Lightning (101) – A case could have been made for the winner Tasever (104), who I selected before, considering he was dropping back to seven furlongs. I expected Bobby Joe Leg to put him under some sort of pressure, but James Sullivan did everything in his power to restrain the horse throughout the race. The selection has now won one from his last twenty six races, and when push comes to shove he usually backs out of it.
