DAN ATTACK (6f Hcap) – This seven-year-old raced keenly last time out when he didn’t get the type of pace he would have liked over course and distance when finishing in fifth place behind Legend Star. His previous neck second behind Winning Money was a solid effort when he was a little more behind the pace than we would have liked but he made up a lot of ground from the rear and would have got up in another stride or two. jockey Harry Bentley knows him well having won on him over course and distance last November in a race that has thrown up plenty of winners.

King Profit has been put in as the short price favourite for today’s (1.10) Happy Valley and he likes to get on with things in front. A lot will depend on how much pace pressure he receives from Silver Spurs and Awesome Treasure who have also made the running in the past. The more pace on up front the better for the selection and with a truly run race we should see him go close.
