Yesterday’s Review

1pt e/way Let’s Go Hugo (Non Runner)

1pt e/way Gincident – It looked like connections had a different day in mind for this horse last night.

Today’s Advice

Limestone Red (10f 150y Hcap) – A career best speed figure of (106) was recorded from this 3yo when giving 11lbs and a 1 length beating to next time out winner Hasten Slowly over C&D. The improving Mick Halford & Tracey Collins gelding has been raised 7lbs by the handicapper, but a repeat of that performance in tonight’s (6.45) Dundalk should see him very competitive despite the step up in class. The son of Cotai Glory was held up in midfield that day before making headway under 2 furlongs out. He looked green in the finish when giving the second a healthy bump after edging to his right. Hopefully front runner Fairytale Princess can set a decent pace for him to aim at, and an ideal situation would see Garrick Painter applying some pressure early in the race.

Geelong (10f 219y Hcap) – This 4yo has indicated that he is ahead of the handicapper for tonight’s (8.30) Kempton when recording a faster than par (103) speed figure in September over this C&D. The key to this horse is he needs a decent pace to aim at, and we will be hoping for one from the likes of Story Horse, Royal Dream and Gentle Whinny in tonight’s contest. Rob Hornby takes the ride, and the selection could still be well handicapped off a mark of 67 having not had the pace he needed last time out when finishing fourth behind It’s A Love Thing.
