Today’s Advice
Debydinks (5f Handicap) Keith Dalgleish’s gelding gets the chance to return to the C/D where he has posted his best speed figure (103) in the (8.30) Newcastle tonight. While he is still a (0-15) maiden, there does appear to be a bit more consistency since the cheekpieces were applied back in February. The two most recent efforts on Tapeta have yielded his two highest speed figures on the clock. The second place behind Urban Dandy over C/D is the strongest of the two. Interestingly, the fourth place horse that night Exceed, who the selection beat by 3L, reopposes as favourite. Although Nigel Tinkler’s gelding didn’t get the clearest of runs at the start, I would be happy in saying that he should still hold that one. A second place finish behind Wedgewood at Wolverhampton shows that he is still in decent form. Hopefully he can go one place better tonight with Oisin Orr in the saddle.
